When I told you I wasn't ready because I still had to find myself and my identity you were always there with me. A search made of rarefied sounds and inner discomfort because you never start with the awareness of where to start looking. It's like building a building where you have to put brick by brick starting from the foundation to build a solid structure. A sweet melody always accompanies you and also grows over time, from nothing, until, slowly, the building takes shape and with it the awareness of who you are, of what your identity is, between falls and starts, between failures and successes, that melody becomes clearer, more powerful, more courageous and the construction together with it comes to life, acquires security, becomes a concrete presence. I then realized that I met the real me, in the end, but you were gone.
